How to Pepare A Healthy Mexican Recipe: Easy and Delicious Mexican Wraps

Mexican Party Wraps are a delicious, easy and healthy option recipes for entertaining that will delight your guests and save you time in the kitchen.

Recently, we had a party at our place and decided to serve these wraps as the main dish.

The result was a huge success, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about how delicious they were.

The best thing about this healthy Mexican recipe is that these wraps are extremely versatile and can be customized to suit your taste preferences.

We used a combination of grilled chicken, black beans, corn, avocado, and salsa, but you can also add other ingredients such as grilled vegetables, shrimp, or ground beef.

The possibilities are endless!

The best part is that it took me around 15 minutes to prepare the wraps. 

Serves around 10 people

Ingredients for this healthy Mexican recipe

20 tortilla wraps, have a few gluten free ones too

A few big leaves of Romaine lettuce (for those who prefer vegetable wraps)

2 TBS of coconut oil

4 chicken breasts, cut in bite sizes (more or less, depending if many vegetarians are in the crowd). 

Ready grilled mixed vegetables or grill zucchini, pepper, tomatoes and onion and cut into small strips

2 tins of kidney beans

1 small pot of sour cream

1 pot of guacamole (or prepare your own)

2 cups cut lettuce

1 cup of small cut tomatoes

1 cup of sweet corn

1 small cut onion

1 cup of grated cheese

1 cup of pickles, olives or relish

1 cup of salsa

Salt, pepper, cajun spices and hot sauce

If you want to make it more substantial, add brown rice, a salad and a dessert

Instead of chicken, you could prepare the same with fish, prawns, cut organic tofu or minced meat.

Instructions

Season chicken with some cajun spices, salt and pepper to taste

Fry in 2 batches the chicken pieces from all sides for about 5 minutes each

Season the beans with some spices to taste and heat up

Heat up the grilled veggies

Warm the tortilla wraps in the oven for 5 minutes at 200 degrees Fahrenheit 

Prepare all the other ingredients in different serving bowls

Put all out and invite your guests to prepare their own wraps
