Still need a few ideas for Halloween?

I have put together a few simple ideas to keep young and not so young entertained with online games and some healthy alternative treats.

Online Horror Story/FB live Horror Story-Telling

Online Horror Story/FB live Horror Story-Telling

You can go live on FB and ask your friends or family to join you in sharing spooky stories live but, if you want an exclusive online storytelling party, you can organize this through zoom and ask your family or friends to each prepare a scary story to share. It could be a story they heard somewhere or best if it would be a true life experience. Remember those spooky stories about that old college dormitory? Or those creepy urban legends? Yup, these stories will keep you up all night!

Family Mural/Board

Halloween is widely celebrated through parties, costumes, and trick or treats. However, since the pandemic is still her, we want to ensure the health and safety of our family. You can start a new tradition by creating a Family Mural, Collage, or family board. This activity can guarantee hours or maybe even days of fun and reminiscing.

Here’s how to:

  1. Collect and organize as many Family photos as you can.
  2. Decide on which wall or board you are going to paint or do the collage
  3. Let the family’s creative juices flow by creating the mural

DIY Healthy Halloween Treats

The kids will surely miss their trick or treat haul around the neighbourhood. Make it up for them by creating your own DIY Halloween treats. The best part of DIY is you can opt for healthier options rather than those store-bought treats that are overloaded with sugar.

Instead of the traditional cupcakes you may opt for a healthy egg muffin and make it look like a mummy or an eyeball.
