What is a detox?

There are many different ways to detox, including drinking detox water, eating detox foods, and using detox supplements. Detoxing can help improve your health and vitality. We recommend basing your detox on eating healthy foods that help to nourish your body, rather than starving it.

The best foods to eat for detoxification

Many foods can help promote detoxification. Some of the best foods to eat for detoxification are fruits and vegetables, especially those high in fiber.

Cruciferous vegetables like broccoli and cauliflower are especially beneficial. They contain compounds called glucosinolates that stimulate detoxification enzymes.

It is also very important to include protein in the diet as amino acids help to facilitate the detoxification process. Whole grains and healthy fats will also help to support a safe reset diet.

During the detox, we recommend cutting out all processed foods, sugar, difficult to digest items such as gluten, dairy and fatty, fried foods to allow the digestive system a rest.

Additionally, you can support your detox with healthy detoxifying herbs and teas.

Exercise tips for your post-Valentine’s detox

It can be hard to get back on track after a holiday like Valentine’s Day. The temptation of all the delicious food and treats can be too much for some people, and before they know it, they’ve gained a few pounds.

If you’re looking for a way to get back on track, try following these simple exercise tips.

1. Start by taking a brisk walk for 30 minutes daily. Not only is this a great way to burn calories, but it’s also a great way to improve your overall health.

2. Lift weights three times per week. This activity will help you build muscle and burn more calories at rest.

3. Add some high-intensity interval training to your routine. This exercise is incredibly effective for burning calories and improving fitness levels.

4. Make sure you’re drinking enough water throughout the day since dehydration can often lead to weight gain.
